Crystal, who grew up in the Porter area, is the mother of three daughters: Jozlyn (20), Modisty (17), and Mercedez (15). She worked diligently on her sweat equity hours and eventually was able to begin working on her own home. Her home was sponsored by Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, and after completing the program, she closed on the home where she and her daughters are thriving.
Ana and her two children started experiencing domestic violence, prompting her to leave her home in Indiana. With the help of a neighbor, she bought a ticket to came to Texas. When Ana arrived in Texas, she stayed with her brother, but she did not know how to drive a car and she didn’t speak or understand any English. She finally ended up Women’s Shelter where she learned about HabitatMCTX, and today, she and her children have a home to call their own.
Kasey is a single mother who cares for her three young boys and her nephew, Colby. Kasey is also a student and an employee! As the daughter of a single mother who moved around frequently, Kasey has a strong desire and passion to give her children a place to call home.
